4/1/2014 Confirmation from Bundaberg Mayor Cr Mal Foreman that I have won the “Junior Creative Australia Day Spirit Award’ for Bundaberg for the second year in a row that will be presented on the 24/1/2014.

16/1/2014 Exhibition at the Australian Open in Melbourne, I was also an artist in residence and painted an installation art piece that the tennis players and celebrities added their handprints to. The large artwork will be on display at Tennis Australia and features the handprints and signatures of players and celebrities including Redfoo, Sloane Stephens, Patrick Rafter, Marinko Matosevic, Marion Bartoli, Henri Leconte, Sara Tomic and Ian Goolagong to name a few.

I attended the luncheon function at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre where I was formally introduced by The Honourable Campbell Newman MP Premier of Queensland as a very talented young artist to Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge. I also gave the Royal Couple a reconciliation painting of mine from all Australians that is being taken back to England by The Royal Couple. I was honoured to be one of only 200 people invited to the State Reception.

15/8/2014 Invited to and attended the NRL’s official launch of the 2014 Close The Gap Round of Football at ANZ Stadium in Sydney. The launch of the Close The Gap round features my artwork “Thapu Wani Watina” which means “Brothers Playing Side by Side” in the Kalkadoon language.

15/8/2014 Attended the launch of the Australian Rugby League Commissions Reconciliation Action Plan for 2014 to 2017. The RAP also features my artwork “Thapu Wani Watina” which means “Brothers Playing Side by Side” in the Kalkadoon language. I also painted 3 footballs that were gifts from the NRL to members of the Australian Rugby League Indigenous Council that were retiring.

23/1/2015 Attended the Australia Day Weekend in Brisbane for four days where I was an Australia Day Ambassador. I was also an Artist in Residence commissioned by the Australia Day Council to paint a reconciliation painting at Southbank called “United Australia”.

10/2/2015 Painted a large painting with the Indigenous All Stars team and the All Stars Team all placing their handprints and signatures on the painting. The painting was 3m long and is being auctioned off with all proceeds going to AIME which is an Indigenous mentoring program.

11/2/2015 Guest speaker at the NRL’s Youth Summit where I spoke about my painting “Thapu Wani Watina” which has been used for the Indigenous All Stars jersey. I gave a speech to the 60 youths and the Indigenous All Stars and presented Preston Campbell with a hand painted football of mine from the NRL and Preston Campbell presented me with my Indigenous All Stars Jersey.

27/5/2018 Attended the Yugambeh Jarla where I was a Yugambeh Champion for the night. I was also an artist in residence at Sky Point on the Gold Coast where over 200 guests put their fingerprints on an interactive painting display that depicted the Yugambeh dreamtime story of the Yugam-Bunyip. Guest speaker on the night where I presented the Yugambeh people with the donated artwork.

9/2/2017 I painted the centrepiece of an 8 square metre canvas and then had the National Rugby Leagues World All Stars Squad and the Indigenous All Stars Squad all place their handprints and signatures around the centrepiece. This significant artwork will be sold and money raised will go to the Preston Campbell Foundation.

10/2/2017 Attended the NRL’s All Stars Game in the corporate box where my artwork was used on tablecloths, screens, poles, bars, footballs, Indigenous All Stars Merchandise etc and also on the men’s and women’s Indigenous All Stars Jerseys.

12/2/2017 Designed the acknowledgement and recognition plaque for Wide Bay ABC to hang on the outside of their building to pay respects to the local Aboriginal peoples of the area.
