Jesse Sutton, a contemporary Aboriginal artist and proud Kalkadoon man, ignited his passion for painting at a very young age. Jesse is part of a family of Artists who are passionate about their culture & history & want to share that with the rest of the world through their art. Ingrained into his daily life, mentored by his mother and older siblings in artistic techniques Jesse has been surrounded by art and creativity from birth. His artistic talent has been celebrated winning various art competitions both locally and nationally and has sold his artworks to collectors from around the world all whilst still at school.
Now devoted to his full time passion Jesse’s journey has been marked by prestigious collaborations, commissions and exhibitions including Queensland Government House, The Pullman and Mecure Hotels King George Square Brisbane and The Mon Repos Turtle Centre. He has worked with The Australian Defence Force, St. Lukes Anglican School, SKG Services, Centacare, Spencil, Local, Lutheran care and A.R.T.I.E. among others
